He is Worthy
This verse is focused on God, using His unique name Elohim used twice. The psalmist calls us to focus on, praise and trust in God and in His word. Only when we do this will we not fear- we won't have time too. Only then will we not care what anyone could do to us. As I was praying through this verse I got to thinking.. how we do this?
How do we focus so much on the Lord that fears about anything else in life fade? One word comes to mind.
Worthy.
It's why we praise Him. It's why we trust Him. He is worthy of it. No one else is worthy of such praise, devotion, trust or focus. Anything else we might place these things on shifts like sand and we're left with fears, insecurities, frustrations and the like.
To help us focus on this concept while we meditate and memorize Psalm 56:4 this week, I thought an acrostic might be helpful. At least they help me, so hopefully they help someone else!
W - World-crafter- He is the Mastermind behind everything we've ever known.
O - Only true God - He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
R - Restorer- He is the One powerful enough to take all things and make them new.
T - Truth- Truth has a name and that is His name.
H - Holy- He is the one set apart because He is entirely other and perfectly divine.
Y - Yeshua- He delivered us through Christ for eternity.

All these reason and so many more make Him worthy of all our focus and attention friends. As always, friends, if you're joining along with our community memorizing this week, happy memorizing! If you have any questions or comments, please post them below!
